Junior Tap Off Programme
The Waikato Touch Junior Tap Off Programme is designed to introduce and develop young touch players in a fun, positive, and supportive environment. Open to players of all experience levels, the programme focuses on building fundamental touch skills, game awareness, confidence, teamwork, and a love for the sport.
Our Tap Off session provides players with the opportunity to learn from experienced coaches, develop their skills through engaging activities, and connect with other young players from across the Waikato region.
For players looking to further their development, the Junior Tap Off Programme also serves as the entry point into our Junior Tap Off Extender Programme. The Extender Programme is our representative development pathway, offering selected players the opportunity to train regularly, compete in local and regional tournaments, and continue progressing their touch journey within the Waikato Touch framework.
Whether your child is new to touch or aspiring to represent Waikato, the Junior Tap Off Programme is the perfect place to start.
